Gemalto and nAppliance Networks are launching a new bundled strong authentication solution for the North American market. Gemalto’s Protiva software will be preloaded on the nAppliance hardware security platform, to create a fully integrated plug-and-play authentication appliance for easy installation and configuration.  

 

A complete step-by-step menu (wizard-based) will take IT professionals through an easy setup which connects all components of the security device to the existing infrastructure in minutes. Traditional solutions require configuration of each individual component and can require hours for deployment. The turnkey solution makes it possible for businesses of any size to easily deploy a hardened and secure two-factor authentication solution, combining something that the user knows with something that the user possesses, such as a token or smart card.

 

IT professionals at corporate and government organizations are increasingly emphasizing the need to protect users and data from today’s smarter and more determined cyber intruders.
