Watchdata launched a revolutionary mobile NFC form factor at the 2012 GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The new solution is called SIMpass-SC.

Based on the highly successful SIMpass technology, the new product embeds a secure element, an active front end and an antenna into a single dual interface SIM card form factor, providing one of the most elegant, practical and cost-effective ways to deploy the widely accepted NFC technology into current and future handsets.

Inserting the new SIMpass-SC instantly transforms any handset into an NFC device. It uses an integrated antenna, avoiding the need for external attachments and allowing it to fit into the same space as a normal SIM card.
