Collis is delighted to announce that Aspects USAT Conformance Test Platform (Verify2 31.124) has been updated to incorporate BIP TCP Server Mode. The product has been validated according to the latest GCF (Global Certification Forum) and PTCRB (PCS Type Certification Review Board) requirements.
Collis has been offering market leading test tools, consultancy and training for the mobile telecommunications industry for over a decade. The Aspects products portfolio from Collis consists of state-of-the-art test tools and test suites for card and handset testing.
Aspects USAT Conformance Test Platform offers cost-effective pre-conformance and conformance testing. It tests a handset’s implementation of USAT functionality – a crucial element in overall inter-operability testing. It gives handset manufacturers and Mobile Network Operators the confidence to launch a new handset on to an increasingly demanding market. The test platform uses the tried and trusted Aspects SmartStation3 for USIM simulations and the Anritsu MD8470A provides the network simulations. Test control and reporting is delivered by Aspects Verify2 31.124 application.
The new release includes validated test cases for GCF Work Item 126 (BIP TCP Server Mode) in addition to the test cases already validated according to GCF Work Item 35.
GCF Work Item 126 specifies the certification requirements for terminals capable of supporting the underlying mechanism required for the Smart Card Web Server (SCWS) technology. This technology is a new way to develop and deploy operator multimedia services and applications in the SIM.
Aspects USAT Conformance Test Platform is easy to set up and use. The application provides central control for running USAT combined UTRA/GSM and USAT stand-alone test sequences as well as an immediate feedback on how the tests are progressing.
