Aconite congratulates strategic partner Thales e-Security on achieving PCI HSM certification for its payShield 9000 hardware security module (HSM). PCI HSM is the first HSM standard to be introduced by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) to address security requirements when handling cardholder data. Aconite and Thales have together completed an integration program that allows Aconite solutions in card and mobile application management, key management and smart transaction processing — already designed and built for PCI compliance — and Thales payShield 9000 HSMs, to work seamlessly together.

Customers who select Aconite solutions together with Thales HSMs will benefit not only from faster implementation times and reduced costs from the elimination of HSM customization and integration testing, but will be major step closer to being able to achieve full Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance.
